우리들 이야기

지금까지 [다민족 교회]를 위해 첫번째 준비단계로 노방전도와 예배 중 통역을 했습니다. 이것은 바룩의 서재, 광고, 목자모임, 개인적인 대화를 통해서 여러번 말씀드린 [다민족 교회]를 위한 것입니다. 두번째 준비과정으로 9월 목자 수련회에서 [다민족 교회]에 대해 목자님들에게 설명한 후에 다민족 목장을 하기 원하는 목자님의 신청을 받을 것을 여러번 공지 했습니다. 그리고 10월에는 다민족 교회와 목장에 대해 전교인들께 한번 더 설명한 후에 다민족 목장을 하기 원하는 목장 식구의 신청을 받습니다. 제 생각에는 대부분 지금 목장에 그대로 머물고 몇개의 목장이 다민족으로 바뀔 것 같습니다.  예를 들면, 목자님이 다민족을 하기 원하고 목장 식구는 한어권 목장을 하기 원하는 경우가 있겠지요. 그럼, 목장 식구들은 가고 싶은 한어권 다른 목장을 신청할 수 있습니다.  또, 목자님은 한어권을 하고 싶어하고 목장 식구들이 다민족을 하기 원하면, 그 목장식구는 다민족을 하는 목장에 신청할 수 있습니다.  

목장모임의 언어는 목장의 VIP와 목장식구의 구성에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다. 영어를 하는 목장식구와 VIP가 있으면 영어로 목장 모임이 진행됩니다. 중국어를 하는 VIP와 목장식구가 있으면 중국어로 진행이 되겠지요. 그리고 한국 아내들은 한국어, 남편이 다른 언어를 사용할 경우는 한국어와 그 언어를 사용하게 됩니다. 이렇게 다른 언어로 목장 모임을 진행하는데 필요한 목장순서 등 자료는 해당 언어로 교회에서 번역해서 드릴것입니다. 새롭게 전도되어 오는 다민족 형제 자매들은 어떻게 목장에 소속될까요? 한어권과 동일하게 그 분을 인도한 목자님이나 목장 식구의 목장에 우선순위로 소속됩니다. 토요일 전도하러 나가는 분을 통해서 교회에 오게된 분은 언어, 나이, 주소를 고려해서 목장에 소속됩니다. 내년부터는 초원별로 토요전도를 나가게 될것입니다.   교회에 눈에 띄는 큰 변화는 없을 것입니다. 지금 하듯이 천천히 잘 준비해서 하다보면, 교회는 조금씩 안정적으로 다민족 교회로 건강하게 세워질 것으로 생각됩니다.   

[Up until now, we have conducted city evangelism and worship translation as a first step for [Church of All Nations(CAN)]. This is all for [CAN] as I communicated via columns, HC Leaders' meetings, and/or individual conversations. As a second step, we have announced many times that we are planning to receive applications for All-Nation HC(ANHC) for those HC leaders who want to serve others I am going to explain this to HC Leaders during September HC Leaders' retreat. Also, in October, I plan to explain ANHC and CAN to the church congregation and then plan to receive applications from people who want to join All-Nation HCs. I believe most of our HCs will remain as it is and a couple of HCs may change to Multi-Nation HCs. For example, some HC leaders may want to have Multi-Nation HC while members might want to stay as Korean HC. If so, HC members may apply for a transfer to Korean HC. If HC leaders want to stay Korean HC while HC members want to do ANHC, HC members may apply for a transfer to Multi-Nation HC. 

The language used during HC is flexible based on VIPs and members of the HC. If there are English-speaking members and VIPs, HC may use English. If there are Chinese-speaking VIPs and members in HC, HC may use Chinese. If Korean wives use Korean, while husbands use different languages, they may use both Korean and other languages. We will have translated materials (HC order) ready for the HC meeting as it is required to convene the HC. How about new Multi-National brothers and sisters coming to church and what HC they would be assigned? Just like Korean HC, priorities would be given to HC leaders or members who brought that brother/sister. Those who come to church from Saturday City evangelism will be assigned to an HC based on their language, age, and location. Starting next year, we will have a city mission for each parish. You won't see a dramatic change in our church. Just like now, if we are well prepared and executed, I believe that our church will become a church of all nations slowly but steadily.
