우리들 이야기

첫째날에 신동일 목사님을 통해 주신 말씀의 주제는 [왜 사랑으로 하나가 되어야 하는가?]입니다. 우리가 하나가 되면 세상 사람들이 전도가 되고, 하나님께서 하나 된 우리를 통해 영광을 받으십니다. 부모가 하나가 되면 그 자녀가 천국을 경험합니다. 부부가 하나가 되는 잠자리도 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 것입니다. 청년들이 목장을 통해 서로 기도하고 나눔을 통해 하나됨을 경험할 때 하나님이 기뻐하십니다. 두째 날의 말씀의 주제는 [어떻게 하나가 되는가?]입니다. 하나가 되려면 첫째, 식구가 되어야 합니다. 예수님을 믿어 하나님의 한 가족이 되어야 합니다. 둘째, 하나님의 말씀을 믿고 인정해야 합니다.  성경을 알지만 실천하지 않는 존재가 악한 영임을 알아야 합니다. 셋째, 교회가 한 방향으로 나감으로 하나가 됩니다. 우리교회는 가정교회 정신으로 ‘영혼구원하여 제자만들기’를 목표로 삼았습니다. 이를 위해서 교인의 20%가 아니라 모두가 같은 희생을 치뤄야 합니다. 리더는 착한 사람이 아니라, 모두 동참해서 희생하는 고통을 같이 경험하고 이기게 하는 코치입니다. 

그리고 예를 든 것이 그랜드 피아노를 드는 것으로, 두명은 힘들지만 10명은 피아노를 들수 있다는 것입니다. 넷째, 서로 존중해주어야 합니다. 교회에서 다수 회중(majority)인 한국인이 가만히만 있어도 숫자가 적은 회중은 인종차별을 느낄수도 있다는 점입니다. 셋째 날의 말씀은 [끝까지 잘 마치려면]이란 주제 였습니다. 탈진없이 끝까지 신앙의 경주를 잘 하려면 첫째 겸손해야 합니다. 별볼일 없는 개구리 같은 우리가 더 별볼일 없었던 과거의 올챙이 시절을 생각해야 한다는 것입니다. 둘째는 진심으로 구원과 교회와 가족에 감사해야 합니다. 사명을 잊지 않으면 감사합니다. 사탄은 이런 감사를 빼어가려 합니다. 넷째, 천국의 소망이 확실해야 합니다. 이 땅에서 부부관계와 교회와 목장에서 천국을 맛보고 경험하면, 영원한 천국에 대한 소망이 강해집니다.  다민족을 위한 교회는 하나님이 기빠하시고, 우리의 약함과 불편함을 강하게 하고, 복음을 전해 준 선교사들의 은혜에 보답하는 것이며, 이곳에서 선교사의 삶을 사는 것이 되게 합니다. 그래서, 해당 언어의 사역자를 세워서 자신의 민족에게 전하게 해야 하고, 다민족 자녀들이 오면 하베스트에 가도록 권하면 좋겠다고 마무리 했습니다. 

First day, the Message from God through Rev. Dongil Shin was [why we must be united in Love?]. We are sharing Good news with others, and God will be glorified when we are united in one. Children experience heaven when parents are united. An intimate relationship between a couple also glorifies God. God will be pleased when He sees young adults united in prayer for one another and sharing their lives within the HC. Day 2 topic was [how to be united?] We must be a family if we want to become one. We must be under one family by believing in Jesus. Second, we must believe in the Words of God and admit it. We must know that those who know the Bible without practice are evil spirits. Third, the church must head in one direction together. Our church’s mission statement is “saving a soul and making disciples” under the HC spirit. We must share this effort, not just 20% of our church members. A leader is not a nice person; a leader is a coach who coaches and mentors others to join the effort together, guiding others to overcome pain and hardship together. Rev Shin shared an example of moving a grand piano- it is tough for two people to move it, but 10 people can do it. 

Fourth, we must respect each other. Minority members of the church may feel left out by the inaction of the Korean Majority church members. Day 3 topic was [how to finish it well]. First, we must be humble to complete our race of faith without exhaustion. We must remember when we were ugly ducklings back then. Second, we must be grateful wholeheartedly to salvation, the church, and family. We can be thankful when we remember callings. Satan tries all means to take away gratitude. Fourth, we must be assured of hope in heaven. Our hope in eternal heaven gets stronger if we experience this heaven within healthy marital relationships, the church, and HCs. The church of all nations is what pleases God. This church strengthens in our weakness, outside of our comfort zone. The church of all nations is a way to repay those missionaries who gave us the Good News. And lastly, the church of all nations allows us to live the life of a missionary here. That is why we must have multi-national ministers who can speak the language to share the good news in their own language. He further concluded that it would be better for those children from multi-national backgrounds to attend Harvest Church.
