우리들 이야기

가정교회의 정신을 표현한 네 기둥은 ‘성경적인 교회의 존재 목적, 성경적인 사역분담, 성경적인 제자훈련 방법, 그리고 성경적인 리더십’입니다. 이것이 실제로 나타난 것이 세축입니다. 하나님의 사랑을 실천하고 사람의 감정적인 부분을 나눌수 있는 목장모임, 사람의 지적인 필요를 채워주는 삶공부, 그리고 의지적으로 결단하는 주일 목장 연합 예배입니다. 그래서 교회나 개인이 균형있게 잘 성장해 가고 있는지를 보는 가장 좋은 방법중에 하나는 이 세축 네 기둥을 잘 하고 있는지를 보는 것입니다. 오늘은 [삶공부]에 대한 이야기를 하겠습니다. 가정교회에서 성경공부를 [삶공부]라고 부르는 이유는, 성경의 지식을 머리에 채우는 것을 목적으로 하지 않고 삶의 변화에 두기 때문입니다. 예전에 많은 성경공부를 하면 제자훈련이라고 불렀는데, 삶이 크게 변화하지 않아서 ‘학자’를 키웠다는 평가를 받기도 했습니다. 가정교회의 삶공부는 어느 한 교단이나 한 교회가 만든 것이 아니라, 다양한 교단의 좋은 기독교 서적이나 성경공부책을 사용하되 가정교회의 정신에 맞게 삶이 변화하도록 몇 교회에서 성경공부를 시행을 해보고 좋은 것을 도입한 것입니다. 

그 중에서도 기본과정이라고 부르는 5가지 삶공부가 아주 중요합니다. 첫 과정이 [생명의 삶]입니다. 구원의 확신을 갖게하고 기독교인의 기본 신앙체계를 정리해주고 성경의 배경지식을 공부하여 처음 교회에 나온 사람부터 오래 다닌 사람도 다 알아야 할 내용을 쉽게 배울수 있게 구성하였습니다. 다음 과정은 [확신의 삶]입니다. 생명의 삶에서 배운 신앙의 기초를 재정리하고 경건의 시간도 훈련하고 7주동안 목자와 멘토링을 하도록 목자가 직접 가르칩니다. [새로운 삶]은 앞의 두 과정으로 기초를 다진 후에는 따라다니기만 하는 사람이아니라 다른 사람을 섬기고 인도하는 새로운 가치관을 갖게 하는 과정입니다. 넷째는 [경건의 삶]으로서 기도, 예배, 금식, 섬김 등의 중요한 주제를 매주마다 배우고 실제로 실습하여 영적인 습관이 생기도록 하는 과정입니다. 다섯 째는 [하나님을 경험하는 삶]으로, 실제 우리 삶에 함께 하시는 살아계신 하나님을 인정하고 믿고 순종해서 하나님의 역사를 경험하는 것입니다. 다섯 단계는 목자나 리더가 되기 위한 필수 과정이니, 꼭 순서대로 다 수강하셔서 계속적인 영적인 성장을 경험하시기 바랍니다. 

Purpose of Biblical Church existence, Biblical division of ministry, Biblical Discipleship training methodology, and Biblical Leadership; these are the four pillars of the House Church principle. The practical application of these four pillars is three axes. They are HC-where you can practice God’s Love and share one’s feelings, Life Bible Study-that fills your needs of knowledge, and lastly, weekly joint HC worship service- where you show your dedication and make resolution. Therefore, the best way to evaluate whether the church and individuals are growing well in balance is to assess our performance on these four pillars and three axes. Today I want to talk about [Life Bible Studies]. HC calls the Bible study [Life BS] as it aims to change life rather than supplementing only knowledge. Previously, we called Bible study as Discipleship training, but we would rather train ‘scholars’ as there is not that much impact on life. HC Bible study is not organized by one Christian denomination nor by a single church. It was first tried by many churches and extracted from many Christian books and Bible Study materials that proved to change their life in the HC spirit. 

Among those [Life Bible studies], 5 basic courses are essential. First course is [Living Life] BS. This BS aims to provide assurance in Salvation and organize the fundamentals of Christianity for both long-time church goers as well as new Christians, learning important aspects of Christianity with ease. Next is [Assurance Life] BS. This course reminds what we learned in Living Life BS and training for QT for 7 weeks, mentoring by HC leaders face-to-face. [New Life] Bible study revisits what was learned in the previous two life Bible study courses. After the refresher session, New Life Bible study trains to serve, not just follow, and lead others, gaining a new value system. Fourth, the Transformation Life. This course actually learn and then practices prayer, worship, fasting, serving, and other important aspects of Christianity, building on spiritual habits. Fifth, [Experiencing God Life], during this course, we experience living God who is within our daily life and His work by acknowledging, trusting, and obeying. These five courses are required to become a leader. Please take these courses in sequence to experience continuous spiritual growth.
