우리들 이야기

지난 10월 6일부터 16일까지 10일 동안 세명이 짝이 되어 서로를 위해 기도하는 [세겹줄 특별 새벽기도회]를 했습니다. 새벽에 교회에 출석한 분들이 20-30명, 올라인으로 참석한 분들이 20-30명 정도 됩니다. 금년에 처음으로 한국어와 영어로 진행한 세겹줄 기도회에 한국인이 아닌 분들이 참여했습는데 한국사람이 아니라도 새벽기도할 수 있음을 배웠습니다. 이 기간동안 느끼거나 기도응답을 경험한 것을 문자를 보내달라고 부탁 했습니다. 먼저 저는 개인적으로 세겹줄 기도회 기간에 교회 형제자매님들이 보내준 기도제목으로 정말 나의 일보다 더 간절하게 기도하였습니다. 저는 교회 식구들의 상황을 더 이해하게 되었고 어떤 힘든 상황에 대한 기도제목을 보고는 더욱 공감하게 되어 눈물로 기도한 적도 있습니다. 또한 바쁜 직장과 가정생활이 있음에도 열심히 참여하는 교회 식구들의 모습에 감동되었습니다. 몇 분의 형제 자매님의 간증이 정말 좋아서 나누려고 합니다. 한 분은 목장 식구에게 같이 세겹줄 기도회에 참여하자고 말은 했지만, 그분이 기도제목만 나누고 참여할 것으로 예상하지 못했다고 합니다. 그런데 목장 식구가 끝까지 참여하여 더욱 은혜가 되었습니다. 

한 분은 가족이 병원에 있어 간절히 기도했는데, 눈을 좀더 오래 뜨시고 반응을 조금씩 하기 시작했습니다. 이 기간을 계기로 가정예배를 드리기 시작하고, 기도했던 기업에서 긍정적인 연락을 받았고, 하루를 기도 짝과 기도하며 많은 위로가 되었습니다. 한 분은 아침을 동역자들과 중보기도로 시작하여 의미있는 시간이 좋았고, 기도한 대로 새로운 직장에서 잘 적응하고 자신감도 가지게 되었습니다. 자신의 가족의 아픈 다리가 나아지기를 위해 기도했는데, 나이지고 있음에 감사했습니다.  ‘매일 같이 밤에 전화를 하며 삶을 나누고 기도를 했습니다. 힘들어하는 다른 목장 자매를 위해 기도도 같이 했습니다. 새벽에 기도를 시작하며 밤에 기도로 마무리 하는 저희 가운데 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 안 느낄수 없었습니다. 이것이 어떻게 인간이 할수 있는 일일까요? 하나님께서 모든 방면으로 recharge 해주셔서 감사한 10일 이였습니다.’ 이렇게 응답과 간증과 감사와 배움이 많은 세겹줄 기도회뿐 아니라, 다른 모임이나 금식기도회나 세미나와 수련회에 꼭 참여하여 같이 하나님의 은혜를 나누시기 바랍니다.  

We hosted a [Special Early morning Three-Strand Prayer meeting]where three members became one team to pray together from October 6 to October 16, for 10 days. About 20-30 members joined the prayer at the church, while 20-30members attended online. This year, we hosted this prayer meeting both in English and Korean for the first time. Non-Korean members also joined the prayer, realizing that anyone can do early morning prayer, no matter what their national background may be. I asked attendees to send me personal testimony or reflections during this early morning prayer meeting via text. First, I prayed earnestly more than my own about that prayer request sent to me from our church member brothers and sisters, during this Three-Strand early morning prayer time. I understood more about our Church family members and even prayed with tears as I shared their feelings about those requests. Also, I was touched as I saw my church family members attending the prayer meeting despite having other busy work and other personal requirements. I want to share some personal testimony from our church brothers and sisters because they are really touching. One member shared that he asked one member to join during the prayer meeting, but he didn’t expect that member to actually attend the prayer itself, assuming that member might only share their prayer request. However, that member attended all the meetings throughout the three-strand prayer meeting and felt God’s grace by witnessing it. 

One member prayed for a family member in the hospital, and the family member started responding with blinking eyes and other responses. Because this time, the family home worship started. He/she received positive feedback from the company he/she prayed for. The prayer meeting gave comfort as they prayed together in a group. One shared that they liked it because it was a meaningful time to start a day off with intercessory prayer with other ministry partners, adjusting and settling well into the new job. One prayed for the healing of a family member’s legs; the leg was getting better. ‘Every night, we made a phone call to share life and pray together. We pray together for a sister in a different HChaving a hard time. We felt God’s Grace strongly among us as we started a day with early morning prayer and ended a day with night prayer. How can this be the work of a man or woman? It was a thankful 10 days to God as He recharged us in all the ways.’- I hope that we can share this God’s Answer, personal testimony, thanksgiving, and learning experience not only during the three-strand early-morning prayer meetings. But I encourage you to join other prayer meetings, fasting prayer meetings, seminars, and retreats so that you may experience sharing God’s Grace likewise.
