우리들 이야기

예수님께서 전하신 복음이 진리고 생명이고 구원을 주는 기쁜 소식이기에 12명의 제자를 통해서, 그리고 그들의 또 다른 제자들을 통해서 전 세계로 전파 되었습니다. 그 복음으로 그리스도인들은 삶을 살고 목숨을 걸고 전했습니다. 그 결과 복음이 오늘 날 우리에게까지 전해지고 믿게 되었습니다. 우리 교회가 하고 있는 가정교회는 성경적인 교회의 모습을 회복하는 것입니다. 이 가정교회가 성경적인 교회가 확실하다고 생각한다면 우리만 그 축복과 부흥을 누릴 것이 아니라 미국과 북미와 전세계에 전해야 합니다. 현재 가정교회는 국제 가정교회 사역원 산하에 북미 가정교회 사역원, 호주 가정교회 사역원, 한국 가정교회 사역원, 유라시아 가정교회 사역원이 있습니다. 얼마 전에는 일본 가정교회 사역원도 있었습니다. 뿐만 아니라 가정교회는 전 대륙의 교회들에게 퍼져가고 있습니다. 30여년 전 휴스턴 서울교회에서 소리없이 조용히 한 교회에서 시작된 것이 씨앗이 되어 전세계로 전파가 된 것입니다. 가정교회 자체는 복음이 아닙니다. 예수님을 믿어 하나님의 자녀가 되어 구원받고 천국같은 삶을 살다가 죽어서 천국 가는 것이 구원입니다. 

이 복음을 전하는 가장 효과적이고 성경적인 현재의 방법이 가정교회 입니다. 그렇다면 온 세상의 교회들이 가정교회를 했으면 좋겠는데 실상은 그렇지 못합니다. 목회자나 성도들의 동기부족, 무지, 상황의 어려움 등이 있어서 어떤 경우는 하고 싶어도 하지 못하고 있습니다. 그럼에도 우리는 계속 해서 가정교회 국제화에 노력들을 할수 있습니다. 첫째, 가정교회 사역원에서 국제화 팀을 만들려고 합니다. 제게 그 팀에 참여할 의사가 있냐고 물어와서 참여하고 싶다고 했습니다. 구체적인 방향이나 방법은 아직 모르지만 가정교회에 받은 은혜와 축복이 많기 때문에 나누어야 한다는 생각입니다. 둘째, 목장에서 섬기는 선교사님들이나 여러분이 알고 있는 선교사님들이나 목회자들에게 가정교회를 소개하고 전해주는 것입니다. 셋째, 목회자와 평신도를 위한 가정교회 세미나에 더 열심으로 희망을 가지고 섬기는 것입니다. 언제 어디에서 어떤 열매가 생길지는 아무도 모릅니다. 넷째 가정교회의 국제화를 위해서 함께 기도하는 것입니다. 다섯째, 특별헌금을 하거나 단기 선교를 가서 간증하는 것으로 가정교회를 전할 수 있습니다. 가정교회 국제화가 다가옵니다!

The Gospel has been spread around the world by His 12 Disciples and the Disciples’ many disciples because good news was the truth, life, and salvation given by Jesus. Christians spread that good news with their life. That is why the Good News came to us, and we believe in that. That is what our church is dedicated to: House Church(HC), restoring the Biblical church. If we know and are sure this HC is a Biblical Church, we must give these blessings and revival to America, North America, and all over the world, not just keep this to us. Currently, Global HC Ministries are organized into regional House Church ministries: North America HC ministry, Australian HC ministry, Korea HC Ministry, and Eurasia HC ministry. Recently, we had the Japan HC ministry. Moreover, HC is spreading to churches on another continent. 32 years ago, the Houston Seoul church lit the light of HC quietly, and now it has spread all over the world. HC itself is not good news. Good news, our Gospel is this: we become children of God and receive our salvation by believing in Jesus-we live life as if we are in heaven while we live, and we go to heaven when we die. 

The best and most effective way to spread this good news is HC. It would be best if all the churches in the world did HC, but this is not a reality. Some can’t do HC despite eagerness because of the church members’ lack of motivation, no information, and other situational difficulties. However, we can continue to make efforts for the HC globalization. First, the HC ministry is planning to make a global task force team. HC ministry asked me if I wanted to join, and I responded with yes. I am not sure of specific directions or methodology yet, but I believe that I must share because we received so many graces and blessings throughout HC. Second, missionaries of our HCs and/or the other ministers we know introduce HCs to other people. Third, we must serve with more energy and hope during the HC seminar for ministers and lay leaders. We never know what fruit comes out of those. Fourth, we must pray together for HC globalization. Fifth, we can share HC with special offerings and share our personal testimony during a short-term mission. HC globalization is about to come!
