우리들 이야기

7월 13일-15일까지 북미목자 컨퍼런스와 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스를 우리 교회에서 섬기게 되었습니다. 북미 가정교회에서 목자나 어린이 목자로, 예수님의 명령인 영혼 구원하여 제자만드는 일에 헌신한 약 200명을 섬기는 기회입니다. 왜 우리 교회는 시간과 돈과 땀을 희생해서 이런 일을 할까요? 가정교회를 통해 비전교회가 이렇게 건강하게 세워졌으니 늘 감사한 마음을 가져야 됩니다. 또, 사실 담임으로 제가 오기 전에 목자 컨퍼런스를 우리 교회에서 한다는 것은 이미 정해진 일이었습니다. 그래서 저는 참 감사했습니다. 왜냐면, 이렇게섬길 수 있는 교회가 많지 않기 때문입니다. 섬길 사람이 없거나, 섬길 여력이 없거나, 섬길마음이 없기 때문입니다. 하지만 우리 교회는 할 수 있습니다.

현재 우리 교회의 재정으로도충분히 목자 컨퍼런스를 주최할 수 있지만, 기도하면서 비전교회 형제 자매님들에게 특별헌금을 받으면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 모든 교회의 재정은 교회 식구들의 헌금입니다.하지만 특별히 목자 컨퍼런스에 헌금을 하여 참여할 수 있는 기회, 그래서 하늘 나라에서 상을 받을 수 있는 기회, 다른 분을 섬길 기회를 드리는 것이 필요하다고 생각되었습니다. 이번목자 컨퍼런스에 어떤 분들은 기도로 섬기고, 음식으로 섬기고, 라이드나 행정으로 섬길 수 있습니다. 시간이 안 되고, 현장에 오기 힘드신 분들은 작은 금액으로라도 참여하실 수 있습니다. $1도 좋고, 더 큰 금액도 좋습니다. 헌금봉투에 [지정-목자컨퍼런스]라고 쓰시면 됩니다.중요한 것은 한 분도 빠짐없이 이 귀한 신약교회 회복운동에 다양한 방법으로 참여하여, 섬기는 보람을 느끼고, 또 하늘 나라에 가서 큰 상을 다같이 받는 것입니다. 얼마나 감격적인기회인지 모릅니다. 이 특권을 함께 누리시기 바랍니다.

Our Church is hosting North America HC Shepherd and Children Shepherd Conference between 13-15 July, 2023. This is an opportunity to serve about 200 people, HC Shepherd and Children Shepherd, who are committed for the cause "Jesus' Great Commission"-saving souls and making disciples. Why are we doing this with all this time, money, effort, and sacrifices? It is because we are grateful, we built a healthy Vision church throughout the House Church. The truth is, hosting the HC shepherd conference is already planned prior to I came to our church to be a Senior pastor. I was also so grateful because there are not that many churches that are able to serve this. Because some churches don't have people, some don't have the capacity, and some don't have the motivation to serve this cause. But our church can. We have enough church budget to host the conference, however, it came across my mind during prayer that it would be better if our brothers and sisters could contribute to this cause with special offerings. All budget of the church is offered to our church family members. 

However, I think it would be better to give an opportunity to serve others - an opportunity to contribute to this conference with offerings, and the opportunity to receive heavenly reward. You can serve this conference with Prayer, you can serve with food preparation. You are welcome to serve with airport rides or other administrative work. If you don't have time and are unable to come to the church during the conference, you can still participate with small offerings. It doesn't matter how much you can give as an offering, even $1 is fine too! Please write (Designated- HC Shepherd conference on the offering envelope). What is really important is that we all participate and contribute to the New Testament church restoration movement. So that we feel great about this and receive great heavenly reward together in heaven. We can't even fathom how gracious this opportunity is! Let's enjoy this privilege together
