7주동안 [중보기도의 삶] 성경공부를 11분이 열심히 잘 참여해서 수료했습니다. 중보기도를 왜 해야 하고, 어떻게 하고, 유익이 무엇인지를 배웠습니다. 이 삶공부의 목적은 교회에 중보기도팀을 만드는 것입니다. 즉, 중보기도팀이 되기 위해서는 이 공부를 꼭 수료해야 합니다. ‘중보기도’란 한 마디로 교회와 다른 사람을 위해 기도하는 것입니다. 이번 중보기도의 삶을 마친 분 중에서 어떤 분은 3개월, 6개월, 혹은 1년을 교회와 다른 사람을 위해 기도하는 중보기도 팀으로 헌신했습니다. ‘중보기도 방’이 필요한데, 임시로 ‘도서관’을 사용하려고 합니다. 다른 사람이 잘 사용하지 않는 중보기도팀만 출입할 수 있는 방을 찾기가 쉽지 않기 때문입니다. 도서실은 김목사님께서 은퇴 후 임시로 사무실로 사용하던 방입니다. 목사님은 이미 주중에 사용하실 다른 사무실을 하나 랜트하셨습니다.  

중보기도팀은 주 중에 교회에 와서 한 시간씩, 교회와 교회 식구를 위해 기도합니다. 순서는 회개와 감사, 중보기도 요청자를 위한 기도, 교회를 위한 기도, 선교와 세계를 위한 기도 등입니다.  한 가지 모두가 조심해야 할 것은 비밀보장입니다. 비전교회 식구들은 기도요청카드에 기도제목을 작성합니다. 이때 누구나 알아도 되는 내용만 적으세요. 작성한 ‘기도요청서’를 ‘남목사 서신함’(목양실 앞 벽에 비치)에 넣으시면 됩니다. 중보기도팀은 기도요청한 것을 절대 다른 사람에게 나누면 안 됩니다. 우리를 위해 중보하시는 예수님을 본받아 함께 중보기도를 하여, 같이 기도응답과 축복을 경험하시기 바랍니다.  

For 7 weeks, 9 people participated diligently and successfully completed the [Intercession Prayer] Bible study. They learned how and why to do intercession prayer. The purpose of this life Bible study is to make an intercessory prayer team(IPT) in our church. In order to become an IPT member, you must complete this study. Intercessory prayer requires members to pray for the church and others. Some of those who have completed this class dedicated 3 months, 6 months, or even a year to the IPT. we need an ‘IPT Room’, and I want to use the ‘Library’ temporarily. This is because it is not easy to find a room that only the IPT can access that is not used by others. The library is a room that Pastor Kim temporarily used as an office after retirement. Pastor Inki has already rented another office for use during the week. The IPT members will come to church during the week and pray for an hour. 

The order of intercession prayer in the room is repentance and thanksgiving, prayer for those who ask IPT to pray for them, prayer for the church, and prayer for missions and the world. Another thing the ITP does is that members will pray for those who have filled out the "Prayer Request Card". During our training, everyone was taught confidentiality in order for our church members to feel safe with our prayers. If you have any prayers needed, please write these topics on the ‘Prayer Request Card’. Put the completed ‘Prayer Request card’ in ‘Pastor Nam’s letter box’ (located on the wall in front of the pastoral room). The intercession prayer team should never share prayer requests with others. Let us pray together as we follow Jesus who intercedes for us so that we can experience prayer answers and blessings together.
