우리들 이야기

가장 기억에 남는 소풍 중 하나는 초등학교 때에 한 공원에 간 것입니다. 돌로 된 벽들이 있고, 나무도 있었고, 언덕에서 도시를 내려다 보던 기억도 납니다. 보물찾기를 했지만, 저는 한 번도 상품을 받은 적이 없습니다. 장기자랑 대회도 있었지만, 소심해서 한 번도 앞에 나간 적이 없었습니다. 그런데, 친구들과 같이 김밥 도시락을 먹고, 가지고 간 환타 한 병을 마신 때가 가장 좋았습니다. 시원한 공기, 친구들과 같이 보낸 시간, 엄마가 준비해 준 도시락, 이런 것들이 소풍의 추억입니다.  이제 저는 50대가 넘은 중년이고, 친구들은 어디에 사는지 알지도 못하며, 도시락을 싸 주시는 엄마도 천국에 가셔서 있지 않습니다. 다시 초등학교 시절로 돌아가서 그런 추억을 만들 수는 없습니다. 

하지만, 새로운 소풍의 추억을 만들 수 있습니다.  이번 주 토요일에는 영어권 하베스트와 한어권 비전, 우리 자녀들, vip들을 초청해서 소풍을 하려고 합니다. 매년 하는 한 행사일수 있지만, 우리가 어떤 마음으로 참여하는가에 따라 또 다른 추억을 만들 수 있습니다.  하나님 아버지의 자녀이며 한 형제 자매이기 때문에, 가족 같은 소풍이 될 수 있습니다. 음식도 다양하게 준비해서 맛있는 식사도 할 수 있고, 모처럼 좋은 날씨 속에서 자연을 즐길 수 있습니다. 섬기는 분들이 준비한 놀이를 참여 하거나 혹은 구경하면서 마음껏 웃을 수 있습니다. 새로운 추억을 만들 수 있는 소풍으로 여러분을 초대합니다. 처음부터 끝까지 있을 수 없는 분도 잠시라도 오셔서 이야기하고, 먹고, 쉬는 추억을 함께 만들기 바랍니다.

One of my most memorable picnics was going to a park in elementary school. There were stone walls and trees, and I remember looking down at the city from the hill. As a school event, we did a treasure hunt, but I never received a prize. There were also talent shows, but I was timid and never went out in front. And throughout all this time, the best moment in that picnic was when I ate a gimbap lunch with a Fanta drink with my friends. The cool air, spending time with friends, and the lunch box prepared by my mother are the memories that made this picnic so iconic for me. Now, I am a middle-aged man in my 50s, don't even know where my friends live, and my mother who packed me lunches went to heaven. You can't go back to elementary school and make those memories. 

However, you can create new picnic memories with us! This Saturday, we will invite the English-speaking Harvest, Korean-speaking Vision, our children, and VIPs for a picnic. It may be one event every year, but we can create another memory depending on how we participate. Just as we are children to our Father and brothers and sisters through Him, we can see this as a family outing. Let's prepare a variety of food and have a delicious meal, and we can enjoy God's creation. You can laugh as much as you want while watching or participating in the games prepared by our ministry team. We invite you to a picnic where you can make new memories. Feel free to come, have fellowship, and make memories together, even for a moment.
