우리들 이야기

5월이면 자녀들이 방학을 합니다. 그래서 많은 분들이 한국과 다른 도시를 여행하거나 방문합니다. 때로는 목자나 목녀가 출장을 가기도 합니다. 이럴 때는 아래와 같이 하시기 바랍니다. 첫째, 절대로 ‘목장이 없다’라고 하지 마십시요. 목장은 교회이기 때문에 목자나 목장 식구가 다 같이 모일 수 없는 상황이 되어도 목장은 해야 합니다. 우리의 생각과 언어가 중요한데, ‘목장 모임이 없다.’라는 말은 목장을 무가치하게 생각하게 만듭니다. 그리고 바쁜일이 없어도 목장은 안가도 된다는 인상을 주기 때문에, 이런 말은 사용하지 않습니다. 둘째, 목자가 여행을 가고 목장 식구들만 남을 경우는, 목장 식구 중에 한 분이 ‘예비목자’로서 목장을 인도할 수 있습니다. 아직 예비목자가 없는 목장은 목자가 추천하든지 여러가지 방법으로 한 명을 정하세요. 

목장을 하는 목적이 영혼구원하여 제자를 만드는 것인데, 제자가 되었다는 뜻은 예비목자로 훈련을 받고 이후에 목자로 사역을 하는 것이기 때문입니다.  셋째, 목자만 남고 목장 식구가 출타하여 없을 때나, 혹은 목자도 여행을 가고 목장 식구도 출타하여 같이 모일 수 없을 때는 목자 부부가 있는 장소에서 목장 식구를 위해 기도하고, 모임 숫자를 2로 교회 사무실에 문자로 알려주고 목장일기를 남목사에게 보내시면 됩니다. 넷째, 예비목자도 없는데 목자가 출타하여 목장 식구만 남았을 경우는 초원의 다른 목자에게 부탁하여 ‘연합목장’을 꼭 하도록 하십시요. 가정교회를 하면 다른 목장 식구와 만날 기회가 없다고 하는데, 연합목장을 하면 목장도 하고 다른 목장 식구와 친해질 수 있는 좋은 시간이 될 것입니다. 중요한 것은 여행이 많은 계절이지만, ‘목장은 안해도 된다’라는 인상을 주지 않기 바랍니다.  

May is the school summer break season. Many people visit Korea or travel out of the town. Sometimes HC leaders also travel out of town. If this happens, please try following. First, never say "No HC meeting." HC is a church, hence we must gather for HC even though everyone can't attend. Our words and conceptualization are very important. If we keep saying "No HC this week" this degrades the value of our HC. Also, this may convey the wrong idea that HC is optional and chooses not to attend without any pressing conflicts in time. So I encourage you not to use the word "No HC meeting." Second, If HC leader travels out of town and only HC members are available, one of the HC members may lead the HC meeting as a "HC Leader Candidate." For HCs without HC Leader Candidate, please appoint one by HC leader or other methods available. 

The purpose of HC is to save the soul and make the disciples. To be a disciple is to appoint and train as a HC leader candidate- and then become and serve as a HC leader. Third, if both HC members and HC leader travel out of town, HC leader couple must gather together wherever they are, and pray for HC members. And then please report back with the number "2" to the church admin office and send HC journal to pastor Nam. Fourth case, There is no HC leader candidate in the HC and HC leader is out of town, only HC members are able to attend. If this is the case, please coordinate with other HC leaders within your district and have ‘joint HC meeting’. ‘The joint HC meeting’ would be a great opportunity to meet and spend time together with members from other HC. It is the season of trips and summer break, the important thing is that we don't send the wrong message of "HC is optional."
