우리들 이야기

지난 주에 있었던 342차 [목회자를 위한 가정교회 세미나]에는 13명의 목회자 부부(전도사1명, 담임목사부부 5명, 가정교회의 동사목사 1명, 볼리비아 선교사 부부, 멕시코 선교사 부부, 볼리비아 현지 목회자 부부)가 참석하였고, 뉴젠 사역자 세미나에는 4명(전도사, 교사, 담임목사, 교육부 사역자)이 참석했습니다. 총 17분의 목회자와 사역자들을 섬기기 위해 우리교회는 전교인이 새벽부터 와서 저녁까지 음식을 준비하고, 공항에 가서 라이드를 하고, 자신의 집을 오픈해서 민박으로 섬기고, 또, 간증으로 섬겼습니다. 김인기 파송 목사님은 가정교회에 대해 주로 오전에 4일간 강의 하시고, 저는 [생명의 삶]을 오후에 강의를 했습니다. 처음 가정교회 세미나에 참석하는 목회자는 8명이었고, 가정교회를 하던 교회에서는 5명이 참석하셨습니다. 거의 매일 비가오고, 더운 날씨였지만 우리 형제 자매들은 정말 최선으로 섬겼습니다.  이번 세미나를 섬기면서 특별했던 것은 볼리비아 현지 목사님 부부가 참석한 것입니다. 볼리비아 선교사님과 현지인 목사님 부부를 위해 우리교회에서 비행기값을 섬겼습니다. 

볼리비아 최승복 선교사님 부부는 남미지역에 볼리비아 뿐 아니라 브라질과 주변 나라에도 가정교회 목회자를 위한 세미나와 컨퍼런스를 하며 전파하고 있는데, 이번 세미나가 현지인 목회자를 세우는데 도움이 되었다고 비전교회에 감사함을 전했습니다. 참석한 목회자들은 목자목녀의 간증을 통해서 평신도 목회자들이 전문 목회자들처럼 영혼구원을 위해 눈물흘려 섬기고 헌신하는 모습에 도전이 되었다고 합니다. 이렇게 참석한 분 중에 한 분이라도 가정교회에 뜨거운 열정과 은혜를 받기를 기도했는데, 참석자 전원이 선교지와 목회하는 교회에서 가정교회를 하겠다고 결단하셨습니다.  저도 목자목녀님들의 간증을 들으며 제가 담임목사로서 더 구체적으로 동역자요 후원자요 위로자로 섬김을 해야겠다는 결심을 했습니다. 또한 김인기 목사님의 강의를 들으면서 가정교회와 우리 비전교회에 처음 왔을 때의 초심으로 돌아가야 겠다는 결심도 했습니다.  세미나로 섬긴 우리교회 형제자매들이 너무 자랑스럽고 고맙습니다.    

3 pastor couples (1 pastor, 5 senior pastor couples, 1 HC associate pastor, Bolivia missionary couple, Mexico missionary couple, and Bolivia local senior pastor couple) attended last week’s 342th [HC seminar for pastors] while 4 New-Gen ministers (pastors, teachers, senior pastors, and education ministers) attended New-Gen minister’s seminar. All of the church members came to church before the sunrise to serve these 17 pastors and ministers, preparing meals all day from early morning till evening, providing rides to/from the airport, offering rooms for house stay, and sharing personal testimony. Rev. Inki Kim (our dispatched pastor) gave lectures about HC, most of the time in the morning, for 4 days. I also have a privilege to give a lecture about [living life] Bible study in the afternoon. 8 pastors attended HC seminar for the first time while 5 of attendees served the HC. Our brothers and sisters served with the best of their ability despite bad weather, raining almost every day with high temperatures. Something special about this seminar was that a Bolivia local pastor couple attended the seminar. Our church served a Bolivia local pastor couple and Bolivia missionary couple by paying for their airfares. 

Especially, Missionary Seungbok Choi couple do his ministry not just in Bolivia but in Brazil and other adjacent countries in South America. He shared and thanked Vision church that this seminar really helped him to raise and equip local pastors. Pastors and ministers who attended shared that it really challenged them as they listened to personal testimonies and witnessed how our lay leaders are committed to saving souls with tears and efforts just like professional pastors. I prayed that at least one of these attendees would dedicate and receive passion and grace for House church, to my surprise, all attendees committed to start HC in their serving churches. I also challenged and determined to serve our HC leaders as their senior pastor with more partnership, comfort, and support while I was listening to our HC leader’s personal testimony. I also made a resolution to return to the first heart of passion I had when I first came to our Vision church as I listened to Rev. Inki Kim’s lecture. I am proud and grateful for all of our church brothers and sisters who served during the seminar.
