우리들 이야기

우리교회는 작년 5월부터 ‘모든 민족을 위한‘교회를 만들려고 노력하고 있습니다. 그래서 예배 중에 자막을 4개 언어로 보여주고, 다민족 목장 헌신하여 14개 목장이 다민족을 섬기려고 하고 있습니다. 이런 노력중에 중요한 것 하나는 매주 토요일 노방전도를 하는 것입니다. 6명은 이것을 위해 호주 호산나 교회까지 가서 훈련을 받고 왔습니다. 작년부터 지금까지 여러 비전교회 식구들이 한두 번씩 참여했습니다. 전도를 이렇게 몇 명만이 하게 되면 교회의 하나의 프로그램이 될 수 있습니다. 모든 교인들이 전도에 관심을 가지고 참여해야 합니다. 그래서 금년에 초원별로 돌아가면서 참여하기로 했다고 여러 번 알려 드렸습니다.  이제 이번 주 토요일 부터 8개 초원이 원하는 날을 정해서 노방전도에 참여하게 될 것입니다. 초원지기 부부들이 정한 날자에 해당되는 모든 목자목녀님과 목장 식구들을 초대하고 전체가 그날에 다 참여하도록 광고를 할 것입니다. 

여러분이 노방 전도의 현장에 가면 여러가지 할 일들이 있습니다. 노방전도는 약 45분-1시간정도이며, 방법은 와서 인원에 따라 3명정도씩 조를 나눌텐데, 이 때 따라 다니며 복음을 전하는 사람을 위해 기도해주기, 간식 준비해주기, 직접 전도하기 등 다양하게 있습니다. 영어가 어려운 분들은 중보기도에 집중하고 전도를 옆에서 보고 배우기만 해도 되니까, 언어에 대해 부담을 가지지 않아도 됩니다. 매주마다 하지는 않고 초원별로 한번씩 하는 것이니 부담없이 참여하도록 권해주십시요. 중요한 것은 모두가 기도하며 동참하는 것이다. 노방전도는 신앙생활을 오래한 사람이나 목회자들도 부담스러워 합니다. 성격이 내성적인 사람도 부담스럽습니다. 영어를 비롯한 다른 언어를 하는 사람을 만나는 것에 대한 부담을 가진 사람도 전도는 쉽지 않습니다. 그러나 그 한 영혼을 찾으시는 하나님의 마음을 생각하면 우리가 할 수 있는 것들이 있고 참여하면 보람이 됩니다. 혼자하면 힘들지만, 같이 하는 비전교회 식구들과 목장식구들이 있기 때문에 안전하게 할 수 있는 은혜롭고 의미있는 경험이 될 것입니다.  

Since last May, our church aims to be the church of all nations. That is why we displayed 4 different subtitles during Sunday service and committed with 14 All Nations HCs to serve people from many ethnic backgrounds. One of these efforts is to go on a city mission every Saturday. 6 We went to Australia to receive training at Melbourne Hossana Church of Christ. Since last year, many of our Vision Church family members attended one or two training sessions. If some of the church members start this city mission, this can be one of our church programs. All must care and join the mission. That is why we often announced that HCs will join the city mission, parish by parish starting this year. Starting this Saturday, each of the 8 Chowon choose a day and join the city mission.  Chowon leaders are going to announce the date and invite HC leaders and members so that all of the HCs may join this cause. 

You can do and support many things during the city mission. City mission lasts about 45-60 mins. We will divide members into groups of 3. You may pray, prepare refreshments, share the Gospel directly, etc during the city mission. If you are having difficulty speaking English, please join with the prayer and learn as others share the good news, so don’t worry too much about the language barriers. What is important is that we all do this together with prayers. Those who have attended church for a long time and even ministers may feel uncomfortable doing the city mission. Those who are introverted may have a hard time, too. It is not easy to share Good news with others for those who have language barriers with other language-speaking people. However, we can only do this when we think of God’s heart that seeks to save one soul. By doing so, we can do this and this mission gives meaning to our life. It will be hard to do if do this alone. However, we have our own Vision Church family members and HC family members. this is why we can experience this safely and gracefully together.
