우리들 이야기

제가 가정교회를 좋아하는 이유는 어떤 숫자적인 결과물을 보고 교회의 성공여부를 평가하지 않는 것입니다. 최선을 다해 기도하고 목회를 하는데도 세례나 숫자가 늘어나는 것과 같은 결실이 없을 수도 있습니다. 이런 경우는 문제가 아닙니다. 하지만, 게으르고 안해서 결실이 없는 경우는 재점검이 필요합니다. 목사님들의 교회 목회도 그렇고, 목자님들의 목장 목회도 3 종류가 있는 것 같습니다. 그 사람이 목회를 통해서 교회나 목장이 활성화 되고 영혼구원이 일어나는 경우, 그 사람의 목회를 통해서 점점 줄어들고 힘이 약해지는 경우, 그 사람의 목회를 통해서 현상유지를 하는 경우 입니다. 그래서, 우리는 영혼구원하여 제자를 만드는 목장을 위해 두 가지에 집중해야 합니다. 첫째는 vip를 영혼구원하는 것입니다. 둘째는 이미 믿은 영혼들이 예수님의 제자가 되도록 하는 것입니다. 한국의 김영주 목사님이 섬기는 전주 기쁨넘치는교회는 지속적으로 목장 전도가 이루어지는 교회입니다. 

김 목사님은 많은 가정교회에서 목장 전도가 제대로 이루어지지 않는 이유로 4가지를 지적하였습니다. ‘(1) 목장 VIP 명단이 없다. (2) VIP를 위해 구체적으로 기도하지 않는다. (3) VIP를 목장 모임에 초대하지 않는다. (4) 목장 식구들이 VIP를 어떻게 환영해야 할지 모른다.’ vip에 집중하기 위해 첫번째로 해야 하는 것은 목장별로 3-5명의 vip이름을 만드는 것입니다. 목자와 목장 식구가 같이 아는 사람 3명씩을 말합니다. 그 중에서 이 지역에 살고 있고, 가장 전도 가능성이 있는 사람을 기도하며 3-5명을 뽑아서 그 목장의 vip로 삼습니다. 둘째로는 목장에 모일 때마다 vip이름을 놓고 기도하는 것입니다. 같이 기도할 때 vip가 오면 같이 환영하는 마음을 갖게 됩니다. 셋째는 목장에 초대해야 합니다. 매달 마지막주를 목장에 초대하는 날, 교회의 부활절, 추수감사절, 성탄절에 교회와 목장에 초대합다. 넷째는 그 영혼의 필요를 알도록 기도하고 섬기는 것입니다. 필요를 채워주는 것을 통해 vip들의 마음이 열리고 예수님을 믿는 경우를 많이 경험합니다.  

I do love HC because we don't judge HC by its numbers. Despite how hard they work and do their HC ministry, there may be no increase in member or baptism counts within the HC. This is not a problem at all. However, if there is no fruition due to complacent, then we need to re-evaluate and reassess. It seems like there are 3 types of leadership within HCs just like conventional churches- active church with saving souls with the leadership, declining church with the leadership, and complacent church barely maintaining current status with the leadership. So we must focus on two things to build HC that saves souls and makes disciples. First, we must save the souls of our VIPs. Second, we must lead those who already believe to become Disciples of Jesus. Joyful Church of Jeonju in South Korea is the church that continues to evangelize souls with HCs under the leadership of Rev. Youngju Kim. 

Rev Kim pointed out 4 reasons why there is no evangelism within many HCs. (1) No HC VIP list. (2) No specific prayers for VIPs (3) No VIPs invited to HC meetings (4) No HC structured welcoming of VIPs. To focus our energy on VIP, HC must start with a VIP list with 3-5 names. HC leaders and members come up with 3 names each from those whom both HC leaders and members know. Pick 3-5 names from those names who would likely attend the HC based on location, etc. Those names are HC VIPs. Second, prayer for those VIP list whenever HC meets. Your HC will share a welcoming heart together when those VIP attend the HC meeting. Third, you must invite them to HC. Invite your VIPs to HC VIP invitation week(usually the last week of the month), Easter service, Thanksgiving Service, or Christmas. Fourth, serve them with prayer to know what our VIPs need. We have experienced that many VIPs open their hearts and believe in Jesus as we feel their needs.
